Her relatively large scale works interpret her process of assembling elements of contempoaray visual culture.
Images are taken from various sources including fashion photography, interior magazines, video images etc. Her works construct these elements with the traditions of painting in mind.
The exhibition was extremely well received and Keown is currently in negotiations with the gallery to enter the prestigious Shanghi Art Fare, China in November as well as a show in New York, U.S.A in the near future.
